Therapy for Children & Teens
Whether you're thinking about seeking therapeutic help for your child or teen for the first time or looking for a new therapist for them, the search and process can often feel daunting. All of us want the best for our kids, and the therapeutic match is of great importance.
Training & Experience Specific to Children & Adolescents
I thoroughly enjoy working with children and their parents. I employ play & art therapy techniques along with cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy interventions to improve the well-being of my child patients. I am also familiar with CPS methods (Collaborative Proactive Solutions by Dr Ross Greene), which I find to be very useful and effective with children.

I provide parental coaching as well, and can provide referrals for more targeted therapies or assessments, depending on the problem. Having lived in four different countries, many bicultural / international families feel comfortable working with me.
My clinical internship was spent at The Quad Preparatory School in Manhattan working with twice exceptional (2e) students. I am currently pursuing additional training specific to child & adolescent psychotherapy, at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Research and Training in New York, where I am deepening my knowledge on psychoanalytic theory and techniques of child therapy.
I have also co-facilitated grief groups for children, and assisted in a research study focused on improving the motor skills of children with cerebral palsy.
