Becoming a mother is a transformative process. Pregnancy and motherhood are journeys filled with hopes, fantasies, but also uncertainty and distress. This can bring up unresolved feelings from the past, or be further complicated by external factors such as work and societal demands, family, or partner issues. Using a holistic approach, this group will provide the support needed for the wellbeing of new moms, or moms-to-be. It will be a chance to connect with others, as well as receive coping strategies to reduce stress and feel more empowered. The group will explore topics of maternal identity, attachment and bonding, postpartum mood, self-care and partner relationships.
I am a therapist trained in maternal wellbeing and perinatal mental health, and will be facilitating all sessions and supporting you throughout our time together.
